INTERIEW!

I Interviewed the CEO/Owner of The Guanzon Group of Companies Mr. Joseph Lo. And asked him questions about how the company developed. How has it been handled and it started.

These are the following questions i asked and his answers:

1.Q:First i asked him about his business. On how did he started it?

A:I took over the hardware store of my Dad after school. From there I converted it into a network of motorcycle store and car dealerships.

2.Q:What made you go into this kind of Business?

A: My dad actually sells all sort of things in his hardware stores. Bicycle, Fishing supplies electrical items etc. I decided to narrow my focus by concentrating on motorcycle only. because i believe motorcycle business is very complex. It attracts less competitor. Looking back, it was a correct decision.

3.Q:What are some benefits of owning your own business and running it?

A:Unlike employment you control from the top and you get the biggest share of the business success. But of course you take most of the risk as well.

4.Q:What specific goals have you established for your career?

A: Goals are set every now and then. Sometimes you achieve it sometimes you don't. Whats important is to be able to stand the challenge of time.

5.Q: The last question is about what if someone wanted to own a business like yours what recommendations or advices would you like to give especially for those who are taking up business courses?

A: Well all the comfort and luxuries your enjoying now are paid for by your parents. One day you will be the one paying these bills. Schools teaches you the science of making money.Your grades is your score board. it gauges the amount you have learned, but more importantly it measures your ability to deal with obligations and responsibilities. For you to make it well in business as well as all the important things in life, the key is your attitude toward these two.

Lavender Watermelon Shake

My Mom and Dad just got home from Italy last week. So they stayed in Manila for two days. I told them  that we were asked to do a drink review in our English class. So we took our lunch at California Pizza Kitchen or also know as CPK. It is aBAr and restaurant place in Trinoma. I ordered a glass of Lavender watermelon shake with syrup on the side. I loved how they presented the drink, with a lavender flower on top. Its just a simple drink but i liked it. I love its uniqueness and besides It tasted a lot better that the usual same plain watermelon shake. It time for a new one. Explore your taste buds.

The Lavender watermelon shake has a flowery taste mixed with the sweet watermelon juice. The price was just right; it only cost about a hundred and fifteen pesos , yet it was Good. Also the waiters were nice and approachable. The tables are setted well, the chairs are comfortable and the comfort room is clean. They also have a wide range variety of drinks to choose from. A lot of different drinks were also good but the one I tried is the Best!I had a great experience of course I spent that whole day hanging out with my Family.

Special Turkey Recipe

Having Turkey every christmas is sort of a tradition for us. Well every christmas we serve turkey stuffed with corn muffin as a filling with gravy and cranberry sauce on the side. It was always prepared by my dad and me. It started when I was in 5th grade, someone gave us turkey for Christmas. All all of a sudden my aunts and uncles start suggesting that we should have Turkeys every Christmas. So everybody agreed on it. So my dad started experimenting on it stuffing muffins, adding vegetables and of course making our own gravy sauce.

Well the recipe isn't that really hard , so i think a lot of people can try it. and after those not so hard work it came out perfect. It taste really good. You can feel the tenderness and juiciness of the meat. Our christmas will also not be completed without these following food : ham, spaghetti or Pancit ( We always have noodles in special occasions like christmas because it signifies Long life, Its like a belief to Chinese people) We also have wines and even hot chocolate prepared by my grand mother.

I learned a lot of cooking with my dad. He teaches me how to bake, fry etc. I am always his little assistant. Little by little I got inspired by cooking, so by the time I grew much older I'll be preparing turkeys for Christmas. Every Christmas is a FEAST. So turkeys is a must!
